On the plus side, the imagery and sounds are fantastic, and the CGI is quite competent for the year it was made. On the other hand, this film features possibly the most annoying cast of characters you'll ever see together on screen, and the dialog is atrocious, even for a monster movie.
An extra star for a completely over the top end scene and fun ending.
