Sommers really loves O'Connor. While the annoying actor does great as Igor in Van Helsing, his role in Deep Rising will have you wishing the beasts would get him already. Instead, a beautiful woman is killed off, a damn shame.
It also would have been better if Hounsou didn't die so early. Otherwise, a solid late-90's monster movie starring Famke Janssen. It's hokey and the effects are dated, but it's still a fun time.
"Poseidon Adventure, Alien Resurrection, any heist movies, Jaws, and a little art house flick called Titanic all in one.".
