No comparison with Armageddon. Just because they drag it down and make it more scientifically plausible doesn't make it more interesting. They needed a better ensemble cast on the spaceship team. The failed missiles is cut short to just an announcement from the president.
Wolf's disintegration needed more screen time too. I can't believe that Jenny Lerner says "She feels like an orphan" and her dad comes back with a childhood picture of hers "proving" she's not an orphan.
What kind of a lunacy is that?
