Boy do I love Matthew Broderick. Unfortunately, I didn't love Deck The Halls. The concept is great, but it's sort of a been there done that thing if you think about National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation combined with Home Improvement's Christmas specials.
It really wasn't a new concept, or well presented. It's a fun Christmas movie, don't get me wrong, the script and the plot is really just kind of tired and not really that amusing. That being said, with a PG rating, it's a great Christmas movie that the entire family can see together.
The soundtrack is pretty good too!
