Review of Death Note (2017) by William James S — 26 Aug 2017
I liked this quirky film. It has a very likeable cast (especially Nat Wolff and Willem Dafoe) and it reminded me of the Kick Ass films, with its black humour, coarse language and scenes of ultra violence.
Some may find it disjointed, but I thought it was fun. It wasn't until I read some of the reviews that I realized it had such a large Anime/Manga following, which I have never seen or heard of, so I guess that's why I liked it.
I wasn't jaded.
