Review of Death Note (2017) by Grant R — 24 Aug 2017
Uninspired and horribly paced, Death Note's 2017 film has all the quips of being a comedically bad movie. Artistic choices clash constantly, characters have vague, confused motivations, the plot isn't sure what it wants to do or be.
It's a movie where you will roll your eyes and laugh often, disregarding the original source material. Another film to add to the cemetery of bad adaptations, have a drink and enjoy this one for all it's faults.
