First of all the movie title makes me uncomfortable because a movie called 'dear black people' would probably offend me before I have even watched it even if it was a comedy. Seconldy the movie is just not funny it just randomly stumbles over sensitive issues and terrible sterotypes.

I knew she wasn't going to let the 'weave' comment go. Isn't the weave thing just tired now? Then the white girl saying she wants her black boyfriend's big black manhood? Seriously? Two thumbs down. A younger audience might look past the prejudice, but the movie is still dull and incredibly slow.
