A sentimental and romance movie about short vacation and weekend love but has gripping drama to narrate about love, life, acceptance and destiny. The film picked a good spot for setting especially at the first part of the movie.
Channing Tatum and Amanda Seyfried might not have a romantic chemistry for some but their acting performance made the film believable, heartwarming and delightful. The father side-story also added an appeal and interest in its story.
Though, the film was long, Dear John certainly did not fail to let audience feel and see the romance and drama that have been a trademark theme of Nicholas Sparks movies. It is one of the recommended feel good movie around.
