Standard chick flick. I didn't find the characters very likable, therefore I wasn't drawn into the romance. It all seemed so superficial to me. The connection was rushed. I did enjoy the reluctant love and eventual respect between John and his dad.
The acting is good. Average movie that the ladies in the house think is a marvelous movie.
