Review of Dead Space: Downfall (2008) by Richard B — 16 Jul 2009
Failed to capture the atmosphere, tension, or intricate story-telling of its video game source material. The sound, music, and lighting were the best facets of the game, and none were remotely replicated in this.
The gore and fear-factors were amateurish, and it probably didn't help that the animation style is reminiscent only of Saturday morning cartoons. Still enjoyable with a decent ending.
