Review of Dead Snow (2009) by Bill R — 22 Jan 2012
It's an hilarious, knowing film that takes the horror and zombie aspect tongue in cheek. There are references to most mainstream Hollywood horror films somewhere beneath the well-written screenplay, and the actors deliver the lines brilliantly - there is little doubt that it's un-nerving, creepy and atmospheric, but the main reason it's so entertaining is that just utter nonsense.
There are tremendous amounts of gore, limbs and brains, and, unlike most other zombie films, there actually is an understandable plot-line. I recommend it.
