Review of Dead Poets Society (1989) by Dan Chi T — 31 Jul 2013
Ok, I nearly cry when I watch the end of the film, like Robin Williams, or Ethan Hawke is like...Oh I can't say it. It has a lot of things that makes us think later the film like: "Does family near you" or "Why did Robin Williams has to go so tragic".
Continentally, it's the best Robin Williams's film that I ever seen. It has a soft but yet hard to predict in so many levels. It's like eating a 7 layers cake without knowing what is it's flavour.
Counting till numbers and numbers and after that, a split to the spectacular that makes the film one hell of a perfect work. It might be staining a bit when it has some weaker spot to see like the supporting cast, or maybe some different anthology to any other drama, but I like that change.
It brings us to a new Williams, which makes us cry. "Oh captain my Captain" and then standing on chairs. That is the best scene I ever see in a Drama film. It scores a spectacular script, straining from order, breaking the law of films, and it's consider a masterpiece to me.
