Review of Dead Poets Society (1989) by Franck P — 01 Jan 2014
Despite a genuine and convincing lead from Robin Williams, Dead Poets Society ends up being.... stupid. The material in the last third of the film, which has potential, is handled foolishly by the filmmakers.
The first section of the film feels natural, organic, and interesting. The ending is trash.
