Clever detective parody/homage with archive footage and new film edited together. Sometimes the splices are even so seamless you can miss them at a quick glance. The idea is inventive, but it gets tiring along the way.
Also, the many different splices give the movie a somewhat uneven feel. That said, it is an interesting film well worth checking out.
