Review of Dead Man Walking (1995) by Codie E — 03 Jun 2010
A very challenging and difficult film that subtly states its position on the death penalty without preaching or oppressing it upon the audience. The film is patient, medatative, emotionally and a remarkable feat in restraint; both in subject as mentioned but in performance, direction and technique.
