An Oscar winning performance from Susan Sarandon who deserves every ounce of the credit she got. Sean Penn is also fantastic. The rest of the cast are great, it is shot really well, I love the script, the score is great, the death scene is heartbreaking and though it is a simple plot and doesn't behold many surprises it does make you think about your political views throughout.
