Review of Dead Man Walking (1995) by Robert C — 03 Jan 2014
Strong performances, and subject matter of course, but a little slow. Sarandon is particularly great. Not sure why this needs to be a film as opposed to a stageplay, since every scene is literally just sitting and talking.
For movies about convicted killers, you can (surprisingly) do better.
