You would think a buddy cop movie where one of the cops is dead (and named 'Roger Mortis') would be awesome. You would be wrong, for the most part. Some decent one-liners and solid gore effects pop up, but not enough to salvage a mediocre movie that does next-to-nothing with an oddly brilliant concept.
