I may be weird, but what saved this from being a good-but-not-exceptional movie (i.e., a 3-to-3 1/2-star-film) was the (admittedly ridiculous and probably-tacked-on-at-the-insistence-of-the-studio) ending -- not only did Billy Zane deserve to eat a mouthful of flare for what he put Sam Neill and Nicole Kidman through on that boat, but it was FUNNY AS ALL FUCK.
