Review of Dead Calm (1989) by Jon A — 22 Jan 2012
Pretty decent thriller set almost entirely on a couple of small boats. Which adds to the suffocating/tense feeling. The incident at the beginning of the movie seems to have little bearing on what transpires afterwards.
And Kidman makes some pretty bone headed decisions through out this. Pretty standard though for a movie like this.
