Review of Dazed and Confused (1993) by Joshua W — 02 Jul 2013
Born in '92, I was about 17 and a junior in '09 when Dazed and Confused became the obsession of my friends and I. Potheads, I admit, there was no movie we could've asked for that used marijuana as a constant theme.
Set against a soundtrack that my parents grew me up on, I loved and sang along with each song. We were the characters because although it is set in '76, it was depicting us. Throw in that it's the only weed themed film that also says the "f" word over 100 times, and STILL is loved and watched by my parents for it's accuracy of when they were teens, it makes me love it even more.
