Review of Days of Heaven (1978) by Ethan J — 11 Jan 2009
I saw this one with high hopes and left only slightly disappointed. While the plot of the movie is decent, the main strength of this movie is Terrence Malick's ability to visually captivate the audience, putting you in a dreamlike state and holding you there.
My main objection to the film was Richard Gere, of whom I am not a huge fan, but I definitely recommend seeing this one.
