Review of Day of the Woman (1978) by Russell P — 17 Jun 2009
I first saw this movie on vhs and hated it because I hated the acting, especially the portrayl of the handicapped guy. I found it at hollywood video on dvd though which had commentaries. one by the director/writer and one by Joe Bob Briggs.
I rented it on dvd because I wanted to know what the director had to say about his movie. after watching it with that I watched it with the other commentaries. I still don't like the movie but the commentaries were very interesting.
Joe Bob was actually informative and kind of funny. love his show of monster vision. I also want to add that if anyone, like Siskle and Ebert sugest, watches this movie and actually wants to rape someone after.
then they should be locked and castrated. I do not know how those 2 idiots came to that conclusion. unless they them selves actually had that experience. which that scares me more than the movie did.
