Review of Day of the Woman (1978) by Conner . — 15 Aug 2010
I would've liked to have given this more stars because it sort of inspired a cottage industry of revenge movies. It was amazingly well acted and scripted for a film of its stripe. And I suppose it was capably directed by Meir Zarchi.
But I have one problem. One....MAJOR...problem. Some of the lengths that Jenny went through - given the uncommon realism with which the preceding scenes were treated - just went well beyond my ability to accept.
