John Karlen should have been cast in a movie with Jack Nicholson the actual film would have been burned by the smolderingness. But instead John Karlen ended up cast as Mr. Cagney and Lacy on Cagney and Lacy.
Camille Paglia loved this movie, if that means anything to you. Actually, Seyrig is pretty good. And the hotel is a great, great character. Otherwise, I am not sure it was really about lesbians.
