Review of Darkon (2006) by Phillip R — 03 Dec 2009
I can look back at that fateful day at the sword store in the mall in Florida, and can see how making just a handful of different choices would have brought me into this world of "I bid thee good morrow" and oversized Styrofoam axes and making shady deals for Mordonish gold with dark elves. It makes me eternally thankful for the choices that I DID make.
The movie is amazing in the same way that watching Neil Armstrong walk on the moon or watching footage of the Berlin Wall crumbling is amazing. It's so unbelievable that you leave with equal parts confusion, awe, joy, and disturbing reality.
