Review of Darkon (2006) by Andrew W — 05 Jan 2011
Fascinating and insightful. This documentary really takes you into the unique world of Darkon -- almost as much as the players get into the game themselves. The people are interesting and a lot of themes of roles in society are touched upon, which I had not been expecting.
The original medieval-sounding score is awesome, too. The only complaints I have are with transitions, which don't always gel together, and the overall camerawork, which is not great even for a documentary.
