It's a classic first, b-grade sci fi treat from John Carpenter. Highlights=an attacking space sphere (a ball)...a guy who spends all his nights and days starring at the stars...and the best countdown to a fart joke ever filmed.
.(I laughted for several days later)..great flick!!!
