Review of Dark Star (1974) by Jonathan F — 09 Nov 2007
Great black humour from John Carpenter. A morose and brooding crew on a 20 year mission to destroy unstable planets with smart bombs. The problems come to a head when one of the cheery smart bombs malfunction.
The ending is superb! Great fun to be had for a film made on a minuscule budget.
