Review of Dark Star (1974) by Ingvar Ottergren N — 18 Jul 2007
A bizarre and and influential film. On it's own it is funny, dumb, cheap, ambitious, witty and extremelly easy to watch. But it lives on through its legacy, from its blueprint for Holloween to Star Wars ("parsec"), knife between the fingers (Aliens' classic dinner table scene) to the character Pinback (this years' Sunshine).
