Review of Dark Passage (1947) by John M — 05 Oct 2008
Definitely second-tier Bogey noir, with a contrived plot. But I must confess that I could watch Bogey and Bacall simply sip coffee and read the Sunday paper for an hour and be entertained, so I was more than satisfied.
Agnes Moorehead was beautifully wicked. And I thought she was bad on "Bewitched!" The unlicensed plastic surgeon and his hallucinogenic ether was a fun sidebar too.
