Review of Dark Passage (1947) by James R — 20 Oct 2009
Very cool, and fairly intense. Nice camera work to never see Bogart's face and see everything from his perspective. Even when he gets plastic surgery, hes still not allowed to talk. So youve got a film here where the biggest star in Hollywood is unable to show his face for half of the movie and unable to talk for 20 minutes after the surgery and this movie is still good.
And Clifton Young was excellent. Shame he died young.
