Great film for Al Pacino and Christopher Plummer fans! Al Pacino is very believable as the aging rock star who has lived the stereotypical rock star life and in mature years is regretting those people and things he has missed out on.
Christopher Plummer is terrific as his manager - a curmudgeonly type that you know has "a heart of gold" underneath. Jennifer Garner and Bobby Cannavale provide solid supporting roles, providing a good balance to Pacino's star power.
