Review of Dancer in the Dark (2000) by Jim B — 12 Feb 2011
I missed this movie when it came out... I was very impressed with Lars von Trier's AntiChrist so I thought I'd check out Dancer in The Dark-- It was difficult to watch--but worth the effort. The integration of dark themes with music and dance reminds me of Dennis Potter's Singing Detective and Pennies From Heaven.
