Wonderfully entertaining take on Lovecraft's Shadow over Innsmouth, the religious hysteria which is conveyed in the story is poignantly transposed into the film.
Fantastic mix of a creature feature (with great & creepy prosthetic make up effects), a little bit of CG, an adrenaline wrenching OST, spooky & eerie settings & fabulous acting, all make this low budget gem look & feel better than movies that cost 100 times as much!
