Review of Dad's Army (2016) by Les E — 14 Jun 2011
Really for the fans of the famed television series, this feature film is a re-envisioning of the beginning of the story with the Warmington-On-Sea platoon and several new misadventures they have on the way.
It is a good solid british comedy film which provides some good laughs although it feels like just a very long episode of the show. The humour and characters that work well in the show feel a bit out of place here. That saying, it is perfect for a lazy afternoon in by yourself and with friends who too will enjoy this classic.
