This film was not for me and not up to Will Ferrell's usual comedy gold standards. The film lacked any real substance and the concept of a dad and step dad relationship and competitiveness is not groundbreaking.

At times very predictable, not just because the trailer has probably the only real laugh out loud parts (if there are any). Mark Wahlberg has found his new film niche with comedy in recent films such as Ted comedy and was definitely the funnier half of the film duo on this occasion.
