Albeit a funny movie, it just doesn't have the grandeur that I come to expect from these two great actors. I absolutely loved the Ferrel/Wahlberg combination in The Other Guys, but it's just not as great in this film.
Don't get me wrong it has it's moments where it's truly funny, but it also has moments where it's just too much.
