Daddy's Home can't decide how ridiculous it wants to be. In some parts, it acts like a straightforward situational comedy, but then at other times it is completely cartoonish. It also wanders between family-friendly entertainment and immature innuendos without finding its footing on either side.
And yet, for some reason, I still found myself somewhat enjoying it. What's up with that?
