There wasn't much of a story/script so the producer-director thought "Let's take Salman Khan and ask him to be...well Salman Khan".
And Salman Khan has mastered the art of being Salman Khan very well now, which is why you will not be disappointed with the movie.
My recommendation - go watch it in a single screen and take loads of coins with you ;).
