Review of D3: The Mighty Ducks (1996) by Russell G — 30 Dec 2011
This series has a deprecating value the plot of the first movie was simple but this feels contrived and as the kids age it becomes less and less affective. Adding new characters and knuckle pucks helped the second movie, but this fails to inject anything new of value.
The story has the Ducks all go to the same college and their new rivals are snotty seniors which in no part work well. The movie shamelessly repeats the previous movie with Coach Bombay struggling yet again to balance work and personal lives.
I would have to say this is forgettable and did not really need to be made.
