Captain Morgan Adams and her male companion race a rival and British soldiers to find a hidden fabulous treasure that contains riches beyond one's dreams.
Before Johnny Depp made being a pirate cool, Geena Davis and Matthew Modine starred in Cutthroat Island, a swashbuckling Pirate adventure. Cutthroat Island isn't as good as Pirates of the Caribbean, but in many ways, it's just as fun. Davis and Modine work well off each other and Langella makes an excellent villain. Three out of 5 cannonballs.
