Review of Cul-de-sac (1966) by Branden W — 27 Oct 2012
Not Polanski's best film by any means, but still a gem in a rare and twisted way. Working with a very minimal plot, Polanski succeeds at sustaining interesting yet irrational characters in impractical situations, in a very claustrophobic encounter between three very different people that bond together over one very similar trait: madness!
