Review of Cube Zero (2004) by Nick G — 02 Jul 2009
All kinds of entertaining. I like the more story-based approach to this one, rather than just a bunch of people trying to break free. If they could utilize this and make another one continuing mostly outside the cubes (like the heroine from this one trying to take the place down or something, I don't know) it could be really interesting to watch and make an even better overall story.
Whoever played the hero was a really good actor, but everyone was far overshadowed by Jax, the eccentric higher-up who comes down to the hero's workstation to stop him. He delivers I think one of my favorite bad-guy performances I've seen in awhile (Joker notwithstanding - though he does at times remind me of the bugger).
