Sad, still uplifting documentary. That such a poor childhood can result in something so successful is quite heartwarming.
I had never heard of the guy, but I have seen his works here and there. A fascinating and very creative guy that's also very skilled. A cartoonist with a style that's a mixture of sexual obsessions, absurdities, politics and own memories is an interesting package.
As for the film it is interesting all the way and it never felt long - just as a well produced documentary should be made.
There is an superold Ice Cube (The C.I.A) track featured here as well. Cool.
