Review of Crossing Over (2009) by Kamen Y — 29 Dec 2009
An interesting take on the immigration and naturalisation politics in the US, and certainly not one that would have gone down well with the stateside audience. But I was always left with the feeling that I had seen this before, because it is so similar, stylistically, to 'Crash' and '21 Grams'.
Good performances from most of the cast - particularly Jaysha Patel - but Alice Eve's Aussie accent needs a lot of work...
