Review of Crossing Over (2009) by Chiek E — 12 May 2010
Cannot fathom the desperation of these immigrants to risk so much just to get a green card and chase that elusive American dream. If only they knew that one can have a good life living outside the US. The roads in the US are not paved with gold as many immigrants seem to believe.
Good attempt by Harrison to speak Spanish. Not sure if it is believable since I don't know the language.
