Why do I love this movie so much?
For the first time we see ww2 from the German point of view and for me, it has everything.......T34 tanks, russians getting slaughtered, nice nazis, horrible nazis,russian girlies, the class struggle between Sgt Steiner and Captain Stranksy, the disdain towards authority as typied by Captain Kiesel and Steiner, blokes thrown together having a laugh.
I must have watched this at least a 1000 times and it never fails to cheer me up.
Some great lines in it too.......and fantastic opening and closing credits.
