Review of Cross of Iron (1977) by Jonathan H — 03 Sep 2009
Weird and at times off putting, but nevertheless intriguing. Peckinpah is an acquired taste, and those that criticize his level of nihilism in his films certainly have reason to critique him. Never boring, and he certainly has plenty to say about the savagery of the human race.
