Review of Crooklyn (1994) by Angel R — 24 Feb 2007
This was a very heartwarming film. I absolutely LOVED the soundtrack; great selection of music from the 70's. I think Spike Lee hit it right on the spot with this film about growing up in Brooklyn.
Not like I know what it's like growing up in Brooklyn but I mean he (and his brother) did a great job at writing it and I really enjoyed the feel that the movie gave off. I also liked how Troy ends up being the mother figure.
..just...excellent writing, I think. B+.
